Pictures taken in August 1999, prior to Hurricane Dennis. The wreck is identified as the "Ethel", a tugboat (one of the very first) which sank off Wrightsville Beach in January, 1889. The "Ethel" was covered by hurricane Dennis and remains covered completely today.
