Wrightsville Beach Marina Spring Challenge & The Cape Fear Blue Water Open have joined forces to create the 2008 Spring Challenge presented by the Cape Fear Blue Water Fishing Club. The 19th Annual River to the Sea Ride will begin at 9:00 am at Thalian Hall at the corner of Chestnut and Third Streets in Downtown Wilmington. This will be an easy, casual-paced 20 mile ride to Wrightsville Beach Park and back using Wilmington’s River to the Sea Route (Bike Route 1). All riders are welcome and refreshments will be provided at the halfway point in Wrightsville Beach Park. Skilled bicycle mechanics will be on hand for equipment safety checks.
